Cancellation Policy

The following policy applies to cancellation of an event sponsored by Sioux Empire Fair Association, Inc., where entry to the event is by a specific ticket purchased by those attending.

This policy does not apply to free concerts or other events included with a paid admission to the Sioux Empire Fair, nor is it in effect for any event not sponsored by Sioux Empire Fair Association, Inc., such as rental of grounds by an individual, group, or organization related to an event.

Refunds will only be offered in the event a concert or other event is cancelled, or if the event is a concert, where the headline act completes less than 20 minutes of their show, which shall be deemed a cancellation of that event. Tickets will not be refunded if the event is rescheduled. The Sioux Empire Fair reserves the right to adjust start times for all events to accommodate weather or other concerns on the day of the event, or to accommodate the headline act in the case of a concert. In the event a cancellation, refunds are in the amount paid for the ticket to the effected event only. Concerts and other events held during the Sioux Empire Fair where a separate admission is charged will not include a refund of the cost of admission to the Sioux Empire Fair, tickets for carnival rides, etc.
